Pukeahu Memorial Park and The Great War Exhibition

Today, Wellington turned on weather that even the ducks would have had to hide from.
The guided tour through the Great War exhibition was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The teachers showing the groups around were hugely impressed by the knowledge our students had on the First World War.
Meeting our teacher Andy, in the foyer before entering the exhibition.

After our time at the exhibition, we went to the Carillon, and held a wreathe laying ceremony. For the first service Lochy read the Ode and Liva & Faustina placed the wreath.
At the service for the second group, Taila took up the challenge and read the Ode in Te Reo.  Both groups then sang Mo Maria.

  3. The exhibition was such a amazing experience it felt as if you were taken back into 1914 to compete in the first world war. The models were very realistic and must have taken ages to create. This museum exhibition is a awesome place to go to explore and learn about WW1. - The Crichton family.
